Eric Burdon And The Animals - San Franciscan Nights b/w Good Times, Winds Of Change, 1967, MGM Records, Sealark Enterprises And Slamina Music
“Good Times” is the story of my young, dumb, righteous adult life. (I’m sure it’s the story of most peoples lives growing up). Fortunate or not, I’ve relinquished many great opportunities while pursuing others. I’ve since learned that as blessed as any outcome may be, consequently there’s always a loss - the dreaded “catch-22.” That’s the sacrifice though, right?! Weigh out your options, then go with the one that’s most comfortable for your lifestyle at the moment - or at least the one that you think would benefit you the most.
Burdon sums it up best while The Animals back him:
“When I think of all the good times that I’ve wasted having good times.”
